Troop enjoyed a great tent camping outing outside of Valley Forge. Temps were in the teens the whole weekend and we're single digits at night. This created challenges for cooking, but that didn't stop hungry stomachs. The smell of bacon even piqued the curiosity of our neighbors.

4 Scouts - 11 Merit Badges
That's right, yesterday at the Hawk Mountain Council - Stem that was held at Albright University, 4 scouts from Troop 241 finished earning 11 merit badges between them. It was a great opportunity for the scouts and it was a very well run event. There were over 160 scouts there, some from New York drove over 3 hours to get there! The way it sounds it's going to become an annual event. Hopefully more of our scouts will take advantage of this program next year.
